💖 The Scene That Nearly Got Away (But Totally Didn’t...)

Hey, friends!

You know I live for the sparks-fly-instantly kind of romance . The heat, the heartbeat skips, the “he’s a stranger but my soul knows him” energy. So when I sat down to write my newest book, I knew the chemistry had to hit page one and burn hotter than Florida asphalt.

But... confession time. 😅

There was one scene  (you’ll know it when you read it) that almost didn’t make the cut. It's bold and crazy and in edit i started to question if i should keep the scene or let it go. Then I realized: that’s the entire POINT of instalove. When emotions crash in like a tidal wave, there's no waiting until chapter 12 to kiss him like he might disappear.

And now? It’s one of my favorites. 🍓

It may have helped that I had Morgan Wallen’s “Kiss Her In Front Of You” on repeat at the time. Not just because it’s catchy (though, yeah, it is), but because it’s about taking the power back. That line “Can’t wait to kiss her in front of you”  isn’t just about romance. It’s about reclaiming your heart, owning your feelings, and putting the past on notice.!!!

That energy shaped this entire naughty scene between Ghost and Nicole and I can't wait for you to read it!!
